Xiaomi Nepal has been announced the no. 1 smartphone company in Nepal for Q3 in 2021. As per the reports from the International Data Corporation (IDC), Xiaomi Nepal has yet again retained the position of the largest smartphone brand in Nepal for Q3 2021.
Xiaomi held the crown for the first time in Q1 of 2020. At the time, the market share of Xiaomi was greater by over 10% compared to its closest competitor Samsung. And as of now, Xiaomi has been holding the top position in the Nepali market for four consecutive quarters.
How Xiaomi Stayed No.1
Xiaomi has been active and providing customers with a lot of amazing gadgets in the last quarter. The Nepali smartphone market received many budget-friendly yet powerful xiaomi smartphones like Redmi 10 Prime, Redmi Note 10s, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Poco X3 Pro, Poco M3 Pro 5g and more. Along with this, Xiaomi also launched Xiaomi Pad 5 in Nepal at an affordable price expanding the prospect of the brand.
Smartphones are not the only products that helped. Some popular new ecosystem products like Mi Watch Lite, Mi TV stick, Portable Speakers, Mi TVs have also played a significant role.
In 2018, Xiaomi first launched in the Nepali Market. And in just two years, it successfully took over the market. And it gained the position of the largest smartphone brand in Nepal. Since its launch, Xiaomi has set up more than 2000 offline partner stores. Besides that, there are over 600 Mi Preferred partner stores across the country.
Sourabh Kothari, Country General Manager of Xiaomi Nepal shared his excitement by mentioning that Xiaomi will continue to strive for and meet all gold standards set for the future. The company remains humble for the love and support from the customers.
