Xiaomi has been in tablet games for quite some time but was quiet for the past few years. This time, Xiaomi has launched two new flagship tablets in the market and recently the tablets have been announced globally. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 has been officially launched in Nepal, and there’s an actual cause need for an affordable flagship Android flagship in Nepali Market. Let’s have a closer look into Xiaomi Pad 5 and what it has to bring along with the official price of Xiaomi Pad 5 in Nepal.

Xiaomi Pad 5 Overview

Design & Display

Xiaomi Pad 5 brings a large 11-inch WQHD+ display at the front with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. This is a 10-Bit panel with HDR10 certification and supports Dolby Vision too. The icing on the cake is that it’s a 120Hz display, you can enjoy all the high-refresh-rate smoothness. At the back, we get a single-camera setup with an aluminum back. With all this, Xiaomi Pad 5 is 6.9 mm thin and weighs around 511 gm. I think for a large 11-inch tablet, the tablet won’t be very heavy and is thin too.

Performance

Xiaomi Pad 5 is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 860 SoC with Adreno 640 GPU. It is an octa-core CPU with 1×2.96 GHz Kryo 485 Gold & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 485 Gold & 4×1.78 GHz Kryo 485 Silver cores. Along with this, we have 6GB of LPDD4X RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. So, installing apps or playing games under high settings won’t be much of an issue here. At this price point, the device packs really good performance and it will give some healthy competition to the Samsung’s tablets available in the market.

Optics are generally ignored in the tablets, while on the Xiaomi Pad 5 we get a 13MP f/2.0 sensor on the back with dual-LED flash, HDR support, and can record 4K videos up to 30fps, while on the front we are treated with an 8MP f/2.0 sensor. This camera setup is really more than enough for attending online meetings or scanning documents. The front camera can also record 1080P videos up to 30fps.
